Q: WHY ARE YOU MOVING?
A: With the kids all in college, we are beginning our downsizing journey. This house and
property is the perfect place to raise a family from small children through the teenage years.
The memories of the pool parties, team parties, and dinners on the porch, as well as soccer
games and frisbee in the yard will always be cherished.
Q: DID YOU HAVE ANY OTHER PLANS FOR THE BARN?
A: We love it just the way it is as the perfect home office. There is nothing better than
grabbing my cup of coffee and my briefcase and “walking” to work. We did have a plan to
finish the lower level and either have my mother-in-law have a lovely on-site apartment
or create the perfect gym, we just never got around to it. I always loved the idea of leaving
the house to go to the gym...or to work...but never having to commute.
Q: TELL US ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD.
A: Our neighbors are great. The long driveway was a perfect place for my kids to learn to ride
their bikes - a private cul-de-sac. I love the back roads in the extended neighborhood for
jogging and walking my dog. The scenery never gets old.
