We will miss about 346 Taintor Drive
1. The friendly, welcoming neighbors always oer a smile and a happy greeting every
time we walk out the door.
2. We loved our proximity to many restaurants, beaches, and schools. A favorite weekend
plans could be to bike to Sasco Beach, stop at Pequot Library on the way home and
pick up a good book, then walk to Paci or Grey Goose for a delicious dinner and end
with a nightcap at the popular Horseshoe Café.
3. The premium location is just up the hill from Southport Village, where we have
established wonderful relationships with the community and trusted business leaders.
One nice example would be letting the kids walk over to Gregg at Spic and Span who
always knew our favorite sandwiches without anyone having to ask! A few of our
favorite local spots include:
• Pharmacy with trusted advice on current remedies for the kids
• Barber with the perfect hairstyle recommendations
• Sammy’s Southport Pizzeria– a quick walk to pick up a few pies for a
last minute dinner
• Horseshoe Café– always nice to meet friends before or after for drinks
• SONO Baking Company– fun to sit out on the chairs and have coee and
watch the world go by. It's also the #1 spot for Bradley Cooper sightings
when he is in town filming
• Also some big brand favorite stores like J.McLaughlin
4. Everyone knows you and you belong! Everyone wants to live in Southport!
5. A nice stroll to Pequot Library and all of their programs like the much awaited 63rd
Annual Summer Book Sale which is coming up! Not to mention the 4th of July Bike
Parade– a yearly favorite of ours!
6. We frequently enjoy pretty walks through Southport Village to the Metro North Train
for a quick ride to New York or New Haven– so convenient for commuting to work or
theatre visits!
7. We love having the whole house generator– not that it is needed often, but for those
few times, it is a comfort.
8. Our luxury Primary Suite with fireplace makes for a nice cozy place to unwind after a
long day.
9. There's plenty of space for entertaining and parties in our beautiful Great Room.
Paired conveniently with the beautiful baby grand piano in the adjacent Sunroom, it's
the perfect place for live piano party music.
10. The wide plank hardwood and vintage pine floors throughout much of the house gives
this newer home a nice blend of modern sensibilities with old world charm.
