TOP 10 THINGS WE'LL MISS ABOUT LIFE AT1881 BURR STREET
                          1. The extremely well thought out floorplan with perfect flow! The rooms on the first level
open to each other which allows us to entertain with ease, and all roads lead to the kitchen
which has been the soul of our home. With all bedrooms upstairs, we were happy to have our
son (and sometimes his friends) on the same level, just down the hall, when he was growing
                          up.

                          2. The spacious rooms give us loads of flexibility for our busy lifestyle and numerous areas to
work from home without interruption. The cathedral ceilings in the Family / Sun room and
our Primary bedroom are so uplifting and the skylights bring in plenty of natural light even on
                          the cloudiest of days.
                           3. With one of us commuting to NYC on a regular basis... we could not ask for a better
location. Takes 10 minutes to catch the Metro North express train at Fairfield station ..straight
down Burr to MillPlain and we are there with no traffic lights! It is the same distance to catch
I-95 at exit 24, and the Merritt Parkway Exit 44 is literally 5 minutes away if we choose to drive.
4 We love our 2 acre lot for so many reasons...it is level so we are able to plan any activity
which was great for our son's sports and lawn games. It was the neighborhood gathering
place for kids...which we loved. It is also very private..even in front as our long circular
driveway sets us far back from the road. We are able to have everything we love within our
property...a pool surrounded by gardens, a tennis court, a barn for storage ...and still have
                          open space to enjoy.

                          5. If we had to choose a favorite room or area of the house, we'd have to say the Family Room
leading through the Sun room onto the deck and beyond. It is a nurturing yet refreshing
haven for us that blends the indoors and outdoors. It is just off the Kitchen which was perfect
for our family as our son was growing...and is an excellent gathering spot for casual get-
                          togethers.

                          6. The two Primary Suites at opposite ends of the 2nd level. The suite with the cathedral
ceiling and palladian window has a carrara marble Bath with soaking tub and rain shower,
so it is truly a haven after a long day and a perfect place to wake up and greet the day with so
much natural light. The other Primary Suite is also private...it has dual closets in the Bedroom
as well and it's own marble Bath for our visitors' comfort.

                          7. Our pool within a lush "secret" garden of mature plantings is another favorite place to
relax. The pool was recently redone, including the addition of bluestone decks that provide a
lounge within this amazing space...and of course the heated pool is excellent for exercise or a
                          refreshing dip.

                          8. We love the fieldstone walls called "farmers' walls" surrounding our 2 acre lot. Stone walls
are a signature feature of Connecticut landscape and we are fortunate to have views of these
                          iconic structures from every window.
                          9. Our Tennis Court holds special meaning for us as we had it built when our son decided
at the age of 9 that he wanted to train for professional tennis! The court is set at the back
of our property, beyond the pool, and it is also fenced and private with a Har-Tru surface.
After developing his skills and practice, he played with the collegiate team at Sacred Heart
University and entered the pro training circuit. Needless to say...we have very fond memories
of the court being built and our son's enjoyment of it through the years!

                           10. Living in the town of Fairfield, and the neighborhood of Greenfield Hill, has given us a
convenient yet private lifestyle beyond compare. The Connecticut Audubon is two minutes
up the road and we have enjoyed nature walks there many times. Burr Elementary is a short
walk or drive away. The town offers the best of everything at our fingertips...and 5 beaches..
plus we have easy access to NYC.
