Q: WHAT MADE YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS HOME?
A: I purchased the property on Jan 1 1996 – winter day – beautiful location at the end of
a cul de sac in a community where families flourished. My vision was to build a home
where we could enjoy all the best parts of both Fairfield and Westport. A central location in
a custom home with all the amenties that you might imagine.
The home was built with old school craftsman from Sweden – as they say it was built to
last – I gain so much comfort in that over the twenty years hear the home has stayed true to
me and my family – it has tested many transitions of styles and provides exactly what I had
hoped for – a beautiful place to gather family and enjoy the privacy of my home with the
access to country club living without the expense.
Wonderful community, great service from the gate house, great amenties and connections
to shopping, schools and the transportation, whether that be metro north to the city, CT 15
or 95. How can you go wrong? For us, it is everything we imagined and more
Q: PLEASE DESCRIBE THE RENOVATION PROCESS.
A: Built from ground up. That said, I have maintained the home to meticulous standards.
This home is in move in condition for the next family to enjoy over the next couple of
decades.
Q: WHY ARE YOU MOVING?
A: My children have started moving on with one in College and one soon to follow. I feel
that the house is a lot of space for just one person. The space easily accommodated
friends and family in our younger days. I hope that the next owners will enjoy the house as
much as we did during our life here
Q: WILL YOU MISS THE NEIGHBORS/NEIGHBORHOOD?
A: My neighbors are great – we all know each other from gatherings in the community and simply
being out and about…. It’s a hard place to
