6. The schools. My kids had great experiences at all three- Riverfield, Ludlow Middle, and Ludlowe High. All
fabulous schools! And the afterschool activities were so easy- they just walked home. Going to events,
meets and games were all super easy, no parking necessary
7. The Whole house. It sounds funny, but I really will miss every room! Playing billiards in the "Formal Living
Room," making cappuccino every morning in my butler's pantry (and what a great room for entertaining!)
Sitting by the fire in the Family Room…oh the parties we would have! And the Christmas tree could
be enormous with the vaulted ceiling! My oce is just so charming and it was once for a while used
as a Bedroom with the no step shower. The huge pantry I cannot imagine living without. Each of the
Bedrooms has a unique feature, we had so much fun on the Third Level. And of course my Kitchen… just
so many memories of cooking with the family and enjoying dinner together around the big table with built
in seats. It was just such a perfect home for entertaining!
8. The apartment! We used it for guests, my adult son and his girlfriend, and then someone needed a place
to stay. We even Airbnb’d it! The lovely young couple who live there now have their own parking below
and private entrance (we never even see them!) and they have become property managers and pet sitters
when we travel. So many options!
9. The Lower Level equipment/storage garage. Sounds crazy to say I will miss this but we used to pay a
fortune for storage… for my staging furniture and Thor's equipment. The plan was to create open air gym
and yoga studio. We never got to it but the next owner has so many options.
10. The In-law space currently used as a workshop. We built this space originally for my mom’s future
apartment with 9ft+ ceilings, French doors, windows, radiant heat floors, and it's plumb for Kitchen and
Bath. Even though we never finished it, it is such a fabulous workshop for Thor… and he has a lot of
equipment! I had my pottery wheel (a little studio) by the French doors and I would love to go and lose
time, especially with the French door wide open.
