TOP THINGS
You will LOVE about Winton Park
Coming through the white gates into the peace and quiet of Winton Park. The tree-lined streets,
beautiful unique homes, people walking their dogs or jogging, and just the serenity of the location
relieves stress and honestly brings joy.
Sitting on the front porch and waiting for the bus from Riverfield Elementary, which stops right in
front of the house, or for the kids to walk home from Ludlowe Middle and High Schools.
Walking to town on Saturday morning for coee and breakfast at Las Vetas or Isla and then heading
to the farmers market at the green.
The Friendly neighbors – an eclectic group of wonderful people...adults, kids, dogs, bikes, trampolines,
Halloween spook houses, water balloons - year-round family fun!
Exercise is so much easier with the track and tennis courts at Ludlowe High School! And if the track is
not for you, there are fabulous running routes to create!
This is the only private community where all homes have an acre or more of property so close to town.
It feels like you are far from everything with mature trees, foxes, and deer but only an 8-minute walk to
the train station!
Fairfield University in walking distance! Whether it's for outdoor concerts, adult education, frisbee golf,
sporting events, shows & museums at the Quick Center,or simply taking a stroll around the beautiful
campus...it is such a hub of activity!
Walking to enjoy a movie or show at Sacred Heart Theatre of Fairfield Theatre Company....and then
enjoying drinks at one of the many bars in the vibrant downtown! Friends from NYC take the train and
meet us right there...no uber, no parking, no worries!
Sledding at Sturges Park, the best sledding hill in Fairfield! The Fairfield U Hill is a close 2nd and both
are within walking distance!
The convenience! Excellent access to transport – Train, I-95 and Merritt Parkway...close to all
restaurants and shopping. Not having to drive the kids home from practice makes life so much easier!
And if I need milk at 10pm, it's a 2-minute drive away!
Friendly pot-luck impromptu dinners with neighbors, the annual Winton Park Party, the Halloween
Parade...so much family fun.
A great neighborhood for dogs! Whether walking on the quiet streets of Winton Park or taking them
on a 2-minute drive to Mill Perry Pond, or bringing them to the beach in the o-season, this is a very
dog-friendly area!
Getting up in the morning, hopping in the car for 4 minutes, and watching the sunrise at Penfield
Beach. It is magnificent all four seasons! And after Oct 31, you can bring the pups to run and play in
the sand. Being so close to the beach is so nice.
