Interview with the Homeowner
Q: What made you fall in love with this home?
A: From the second we saw the house, we loved the house, the street, and the location. We
knew it would be the perfect place to raise our three children. The house has fantastic curb
appeal and is one of the larger properties in the University section of Fairfield. The house
itself is warm and inviting with tons of space and oversized rooms, with a private backyard
for the kids to play. The street is quiet with different homes that had (and again now have)
families with young children. The location is central to anything you can think of; located
halfway between Post Road and Blackrock Turnpike (with some of our favorite restaurants
and shopping) and also close to both I-95 and the Merritt Parkway. Also equally distant
between both Fairfield and Fairfield-Metro Train Stations.
Q: Did you make any renovations?
A: Basement renovation was seamless. Refresh to both upstairs bathrooms was seamless.
Backyard and patio were much easier as they were done outside of the house and every-
day living.
Q: Why are you moving?
A: After having raised our three kids in such a great location it is time for another young
family to endear their new beginnings. Our kids have now grown and are beginning their
individual journeys. We now recognize that it's time for us to also begin our own journey
with just the two of us. It’s time for us to move to a place that will become the destination
for the family to take holiday vacations in a warmer climate.
Q: Will you miss the neighborhood/neighbors?
A: We had the most incredible memories in this house and neighborhood. When we first
moved here, we were the new young couple with three kids under the age of three.
Whether it was watching the kids learn to ride their bikes, playing wiffle ball in the yard, or
trick or treating on Halloween, there was always energy on the street.
