Q: Tell me about the grounds.

A: The grounds of the property are among its best features. The house sits high on the prop-
erty and the front of the house overlooks several blocks, as other streets are lower geo-
graphically to our home. Whether you are looking out the office or bedroom window, or
the front palladium window in the entryway, you always get great views of the neighbor-
hood.

But the backyard living is our favorite feature of the house. We had the backyard cleared
to create a play area for the kids while still preserving a hill and wooded area in the back
part of the property which created the perfect hill for winter sleigh riding or summer ex-
ploring. When the trees fill in during the spring, we get vibrant colors with different trees
that blossom at different times of the season; all of which provides for a private get-away-
like setting. We have spent countless hours with the family in the backyard barbecuing
dinner, spending time in the hot tub or making s’mores by the fire pit.

Q: Did you ever consider putting in a pool?

A: We never considered putting in a pool. My sons preferred to have room to long toss a

baseball or football; and we much preferred sitting in our hot tub which is situated adja-
cent to our family room windows, allowing us to watch movies/tv shows or sports events
regardless of the season.
