Interview with the Homeowner

Q: What made you fall in love with this home?

A: We were lucky enough to buy the house and lot before construction was started, so we were able to

truly make it our own. We chose the lot because it is large, flat, and had no conservation restrictions.

Both our kids played soccer and Mom was a soccer coach so it was important for us to have this

large, expanse for the kids (and dog) to run around. Coming into the process at the beginning also

allowed us to make improvements and upgrades on the original plans including widening the entry

way, expanding the overall footprint, and completely revising the plan for the second floor. Moving

from out of town we loved Fairfield from the start and wanted a home where we could have our

privacy but still be in town within minutes. The quality of the schools and the short drive to the train

                  station were also key considerations.

            Q: Why are you moving?

A: It is with a very heavy heart that we have made the decision to leave as the home, the town, and the

people have brought us so much joy over the years. As our children have gotten older, we realize it is

time for new owners to enjoy this home as much as we did.

Q: Will we miss the neighborhood and neighbors?

A: Immensely! And we think they will miss us! We have been here for 22 years for a reason! Maybe

it’s a product of living on a cul-de-sac, but everyone on the street is wonderful. We’ve watched all

the children grow through their local school years and many through college. We have gone on

vacations and ski trips together…and shared everything from cooking ingredients to landscapers.
