Mystic Pines Ranch is dedicated to producing quality modern foundation Appaloosas. Mystic Pines Ranch is a small breeder located North of Spokane WA. The broodmare band consists of 5/6 carefully picked mares. We have two stallions, senior stallion Impresiv Blu Peepers and our new junior stallion
TC ReflectionsOfFire. With a few up coming broodmare prospects, we are focusing on showing our younger stock and promoting them and our senior stallion. We are also avid trail riders and looking to start competing in Ranch Riding and Extreme Trail Challanges.
1) What drew you to the Appaloosa breed?
Growing up I was always involved in a AQHA world, slightly dabbled in APHA but always had a love for Appaloosas. Once I broke away from the other breed I had the opertunity of owning a few Appaloosas in my youth.
2) What made you want to breed and raise Appaloosas?
I have always wanted my own breeding operation. When we started I found that there wasn’t very many (comparative to AQHA or APHA) so why not start
promoting a worthy breed. I still haven’t ran across another breed that gives you so much gratification once you have bonded.
3) What horse was the foundation of your program?
Our Stallion Impresiv Blu Peepers was our first addition that started everything. I looked a long time for the stallion prospect of my dreams. I even watched him for sale for awhile on equine classified sites. I couldn’t get my mind off him. He is a modern bred Appaloosa and carries a few of my old favorite QH lines. Zippo Pine Bar and Boston Mac. He also goes back to Bright Eyes Brother and Plaudit. He started everything for me.
