CONVERSATIONS MEET THE BREEDER
    8) How did you get started in your breeding program?
Honestly, the timing was just right and I dove in and never looked back. Hopefully for years to come we will be here, apart of the Appaloosa Horse World. I really Im excited to start seeing some second and third generations from MPR - Mystic Pines Ranch.
9) What is your outlook on the Appaloosa breeding world right now?
My hope is that it continues to grow in population. For some reason there is still a stigma when one mentions Appaloosas. In laymans terms, the Appitude. If you have ever worked with an Appaloosa you know once you have them and bond with them, they will do whatever for you. So much heart when they trust you. It is so rewarding!
10) What do you think that we as Appaloosa breeders can do to make the breed better?
I think we all need to stick together as breeders to keep the breed strong! Help each other and cheer on one another. It would be nice to see more shows approved by ApHC in the Pacific Northwest.
