that life? Good Friday should help us to accept the grace of
God, who can transform everything from the death of the

accursed cross to death, even though it may be repeatedly
confronted with our daily circumstances.

Reection:

Dearly Beloved, in the journey of ghting injustice and stand-
ing against the lawless, defeat and death are certain. Our

situation today is no different. However, death is not the end,
even when we have to die in the ght against the illegal sys-
tem. Christ, the conqueror of death, demonstrates that death

cannot dampen the spirit of ghting against evil. There was a
new prospect of transforming everything and establishing

goodness, even if there was no chance of winning death. That
is why we human beings, call the Friday the day of Jesus’

death, "Good Friday" and we engage in meditating His cruci-
xion.
