THE PRINCE OF WALES
The Prince of Wales became friends of Bristol Children’s Charity
when the new owner Beau and Manager Webbsy took over in
October 2015. Soon after then, they adopted us as their preferred
local charity.
Since 2015, the Patrons have avidly supported us, and whilst we
cannot get an exact figure; we can safely estimate that in just 8
years they have raised in excess of £10,000 – apart from Beau &
Webbsy’s amazing support, all the customers at the pub are always
keen to buy raffle tickets and support events we hold at the pub. A
special mention to patrons Marc Wooldridge & Wayne Baker, both
have made massive contributions over the years, not only with their
donations but also for “flying the flag” for Bristol Children’s Charity
amongst their own network of likeminded people.
The Prince of Wales aka “The Swamp” (because once in you’re in, it’s
incredibly difficult to get out) is the pub that just keeps giving. We
are both proud and grateful for their amazing support.
