Prices of goods and services have risen hugely this past year so where we were
once able to buy and install a basic electric cooker for around £270.00, it now costs
us approx. £370.00. Raising funds this year has proved harder than ever before
(except during the lockdown) so it’s vitally important that we spread the word about
the work we do and how vital it is to continue to receive donations, no matter how
small. Please do what you can to continue to support us so we can help the most
disadvantaged children living in the BS postcode.

I meanwhile wish you all a very Happy Christmas and prosperous & healthy New
      Year.
      Granville Jenkins
      Chairman

         Dear supporters
I am deeply honoured to write this address as your new Honorary President. I
have held several posts within our charity over a period of around 15 years and
am now able to reflect on how far the charity has come during those years.
Many people have been involved in transforming Bristol Children’s Charity into
the successful professionally run organisation it is today. This has been
achieved with the untiring efforts of our volunteer trustees and members who
work so hard to achieve our goals to improve the lives of disadvantaged children
         in the Bristol area.
I would like to thank my preceding President Tim Duggan who, after over 40
years of service to the charity, is now taking things easier with his family,
particularly his new grandson. Enjoy your retirement Tim!
Also I must congratulate our Patron Sir Terry Waite KCMG CBE on his recent
well-deserved knighthood. and thank you so much for your continued support..
I would also like to thank our outgoing Trustees - Mel Brooks, Nicola Harvey,
Mark Price and Val Ward for your hard work over the years. Finally special
thanks must go to the following local and national businesses for their incredibly
generous support over the past few years :-
Beaverbrooks Jewellers, Brandwell Construction, C2FO, Clifton College,
Currys Retail Harding+ Retail, Silvey Fleet, Taylor Wimpey, UK Spares.
Your generosity has already made a massive difference to 100’s of local
         children.
I close by thanking all of you, our supporters for your on-going loyalty and
generosity. I wish you all a very happy Christmas and a prosperous & healthy
         2024.
         Jan Reynolds MBE
         Honorary President
