IN PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE
The Mata Jai Kaur Public School escutcheon is significant since it
protects all those who come in its encompassing security. It
bears the school motto “Shubh Karman Tey Kabhoo Na
Taron”, the inspiring resolution of Guru Gobind Singh,
exhorting our students onto strongholds of fortitude,
patience, dignity and integrity, in the face of all adversities.
The gold and yellow outlines of the shield denote the best and
highest form of purity while the maroon red enforces the love, care
and comfort which the school offers. The background is surfaced
with earthy colour of green full of hope and eternity which
epitomizes the spirit of every Mata Jai Kaurian.
The burning flame symbolizes the child’s quest for constant
learning in this vast mysterious world. It is the light dispelling
ignorance and signaling a new beginning. The word ‘M’ is also an
open book whereby knowledge is made available to all, without
any barriers. It welcomes all to foray into its unlimited depths.
The escutcheon manifests the never-say-die spirit of
every successful Jai Kaurian.
