Barry and Gallina offered to stop down in
Saskatchewan on their flight back, to take Joe home to
his family.
At the end of the bay, were the magnificent glaciers.
The distances were hard to judge, but the glacier towered
over one of the huge cruise ships, which itself was the
height of a ten story building. The ice was dazzling white
with some bits of electric blue. The captain said that the
blue was the result of very little oxygen in that part of the
ice. One of the crew members fished out some of the
glacial ice and gave them a bite of the oldest frozen water
on the planet.
Again, Mr. and Mrs. Star had a funny look on their
faces, and this time, except for Twinkle, all the people in
their group noticed. They must have a story to tell,
thought Mirabel and her parents at the same time.
