Hey Colorado!

Let me start off by saying wow! It has been an absolute blast. Every second I got to spend with each of you has
been an absolute pleasure. Thank you for trusting me to run your jurisdiction this year and I hope I didn’t let any of you
down. I am beyond proud of how much each one of you have grown and shown what DeMolay truly is. This past year I have
been able to see our chapters grow and become more and more active every day.

To Dad Foster, you have been an absolute blast to travel to different jurisdictions and different chapters with. It
may have been a rocky start, but we did it. This year you helped me accomplish my dreams of growing this organization and
showed me why we call our advisors dads and moms.

To Dad Crask, thank you for standing by me whenever I had something I needed to do and listened to all of my
ideas and gave me your advice. Thank you for being another dad to me. You have always been someone I could laugh with
and someone I can look up to at the same time.

To Tabor, from the second I stood in front of you at the altar and brought you into DeMolay I knew something
great would come from you. It has been amazing to travel to different chapters, plan events, or even our phone calls just
talking brother to brother has been amazing I couldn’t have asked for a better Deputy to share this year with.
To the Goodwin brothers, you both have been absolutely amazing to share this year with, from the help offered to
the smart remarks. I truly could not ask for a better State Core to share this last year with.

To my parents, thank you so much you stood by me through my worst and still do even at my best. You have
always been there from the day I joined DeMolay to the day I got off the bus from DLC saying “I want to be on the State
Line.” You stood by me while I pushed myself to that point and achieved my dream. Thank you for being there through
thick and thin and you helped me up when I fell and lost my way you guided me back, I love you both so much I couldn’t
have done this without you.

To Colorado DeMolay, I love you all! You all are my brothers, and you always will be. So for old time sakes I’m
gonna tell you all a story. Not too long ago I was 12, I was brought into DeMolay on October 6, 2016, in Broomfield Chapter.
I was involved in DeMolay before, but I wasn’t a squire. My brother was a DeMolay, and I would go to the fun events with
him and just mess around and that's how I met so many advisors before I knew what an advisor was. Then in February of
2017 I was installed as the Senior Councilor, and I still didn’t fully understand what DeMolay was because I was 12 and all I
knew was fun. Fast Forward a little when I went to my first Colorado DeMolay Convention, I saw many people in these funny
th
necklaces and I thought it would be super cool to have one. A couple years later July 10 , 2021, I was installed as the Deputy
State Master Councilor and got to have a blast, then installed as State Master Councilor on June 11th, 2022. Now, here we
are 279 days later writing my outgoing letter, but 92 days left until my time to lead you all is up and time for the next SMC to
guide you to the future. So, there's my story, I had a blast Colorado; I really did but the best part of my job was to see you all
thrive and have fun. You all have been an amazing part of my DeMolay career and I will remember this forever! So, thank
you again for this last year!
