The people whose photos are shown below had an event where water flooded into their house. Looking
from the ground the insurance assessor stated that the claim was denied due to lack of maintenance of
the gutters. From the ground, and without further inspection, this would have seemed like a reasonable
excuse not to pay on the claim.
On further inspection, the assessor was half right. No maintenance had been done of the gutters for the
last 15 years because it wasn’t needed, it’s obvious that blocked gutters weren’t the cause of the problem.
Guess who had to re-evaluate their decision?
