Sing the Song

Sing The Song game would use a song as the main material of the game.
The use of song also has been a famous way to learn a language for young
learner because songs are really close to their life. Listening song is a fun
activity that often student do daily. A certain song, mostly a hit song, can
give the listener an emotional experience. So, learning language through
song would make the student more attached to the song.

In fact, young learners need to be emotionally involved in the learning
process which is made in play-like activities which are likeable and fun,
but promote learning. Researchers agree (Jolly, 1975: 14; Shin, J.K., 2006)
that songs are useful teaching aids which raise and maintain students’
motivation, especially in cases when they are catchy and supported with
colorful visuals, reality (objects from real life used in classroom

instruction), and movement.
from the explanation above we know that other than giving the
student regular-dictatating vocabulary learning, this game will more
attract the student attention to make them focus and willing to get
involved in the learning process. Then, the next important duty of the
teacher is to choose some hit songs that would be easy to sing along by all
the student in the class.
