                Ultimately,  the  development  of  human  rights  highlights  the  importance  of  vigilance,

               accountability,  and  active  participation  by  individuals,  governments,  and  the  international

               community to ensure that every person can live with dignity, security, and freedom.


               1.4 Universal Declaration of Human Rights



               The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is an international document issued by the United

               Nations  in  1948.  It  aims  to  protect  human  dignity  and  guarantee  basic human  rights  without
               discrimination based on gender, color, religion, language, or origin.


               The declaration affirms that all people are born free and equal in dignity and rights, and that these

               rights are universal and cannot be taken away.


               1.4.1 Main Principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights



                   •  All human beings are equal in dignity and rights


                   •  No discrimination is allowed for any reason


                   •  Human rights are inalienable


                   •  Respect for freedom, justice, and peace
