7.2 Financial Consideration for Software Maintenance
Software Maintenance & Service Charges
After the successful implementation in order to continue the maintenance, customer needs to
sign the maintenance contract.
Warranty and Maintenance will not cover data and other file losses and corruptions due to
hardware and system malfunctions, virus attacks, power surges, deletion or misuse by accident or
sabotage by client's employees, users or any other authorized or unauthorized persons.
The maintenance charges will be 15% per annum from the quoted software price.
During the period of implementation and up to final payment no charges are made except if the
user goes beyond the original requirement specification.
New Requirements are charged on the basis of a prevailing man-hour rate.
