BLOCK WATCH
Since the Sheriff’s Deputies are unable to patrol every neighborhood at all times, you can help by forming a Neighborhood Block Watch.
You and your neighbors can stay safe by looking out for one another. In just a few steps, your neighborhood can form its own Block Watch.
Step 1: Contact your neighbors from corner to corner or at least 8 to 10 houses in each direction and both sides of the street to see if
they are interested in participating in a Block Watch program.
Step 2: Contact the Litchfield Park Block Watch Coordinator, Sonny Culbreth, at 623-935-5033, to schedule your Block Watch meeting
or complete the online inquiry form, litchfield-park.org > Live > Request > Neighborhood Block Watch.
Topics include:
Benefits of the Block Watch
Burglary prevention
Co-Captains’ responsibilities
Crime statistics in your area
Support programs
Step 3: Distribute fliers to neighbors informing them of meeting date and time. (The City’s coordinator can supply fliers for you.)
Step 4: Host your neighborhood organizational meeting.
VACATION WATCH
Going on vacation? Participate in the Vacation Watch program. Litchfield Park residents can request extra patrol from the Maricopa
County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and Posse while on vacation. Complete and submit a Vacation Watch Report to City Hall, 214 W.
Wigwam Boulevard, Litchfield Park, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Questions may be directed to 623-935-5033. Pick up a form
from City Hall or access the form online, litchfield-park.org > Live > Request > Vacation Watch Request.
