P&H recently upgraded its comput-
ing power with the addition of a new
server and a new server, housed in
its own, independently cooled room
on the second floor.
The new equipment will allow the
company not just to enjoy the ben-
efits of faster data transmission and
internet connectivity speeds, but will
sever the link between the phone
system and the individuals comput-
ers, allowing all of the phones to
have their own network ports.
The internal WiFi has been upgraded
to provide a stronger connection
within the facility, and to an addi-
tional router added outside so that
the entire facility has access.
The new bar code scanners are
wireless, which means that they will
require a good WIFI signal to work
well and enable them to provide a
real time connection to MAS.
P&H will also benefit from additional
computer capacity that will enable
expansion of other capabilities in the
future. Having a solid platform will
allow P&H to more seamlessly inte-
grate with customer applications and
systems and enhance our ability to
be readily responsive to EDI require-
ments of customer system.

future. The temperature controlled
room will keep the equipment at the
temperature it needs to be and save
energy overall.
