elissa is one of the fastest growing communities around the
MMetro-Plex. It is setting new records each quarter for housing
start-ups. The population has now exceeded 10,000 and expected to
surpass 11,000 by the end of 2018.

Traffic counts in Melissa are close to 40,000 cars per day, and rising
from traffic driving to the Metro-Plex each day to work or shop. One
of the most important numbers for Melissa, is the fact that almost
$500 million dollars annually is spent by Melissa residents somewhere
else due to the lack of business services in Melissa. New businesses that
have come to Melissa recently are exceeding their sales expectations.

The Melissa residents are crying for new services closer to home.
Grocery Store, Restaurants, Retail and Services are the most requested,
but almost any type of business would be successful in Melissa.

Melissa is filling up with middle and upper income people craving
places to shop close to home. The average home price in Melissa is
near $300,000 and is climbing. So Melissa is a great market for most
businesses.
