If there is anything that can be said
about economics, and economists,
it’s that seldom do these “experts”
agree.

The impact of the recent increase on
tariffs on a long list of goods that are
imported from China on US busi-
nesses is a perfect example of this.

The implemenation of these tariff
increases has been very recent, with
the first being imposed earlier this
year.

P&H Casters has taken steps to
soften the impact on our costs and,
as we all know, we have commenced
our domestic manufacturing pro-
gram, which the company feels is a
positive step that will carry us into
the future well positioned to contin-
ue to be a premiere company in our
market.

We will have more to share with you
in the coming months as the true
impact of the tariff increases on our
business and our customer’s busi-
nesses become clearer.
