What you are looking at (not looking
at it? Well why are you reading this
then?) is the blueprints for the soon
to be built new 45,000 sq. ft. building
that will adjoin P&H’s existing facility.

      Currently identified as “New Ware-
house”, this building is needed to ac-
      commodate product inventory (gray
      shaded area is new construction).
As we are now manufacturing locally,
      our existing warehousing capacity is
not going to be adequate going into
      the future.

      The company’s consistent growth also
factors into the need for more space.
New Warehouse will also feature a
      connecting wing that will contain
5,000 sq. ft. of new office space. The
new dock and driveway plan will allow Operations Manager, Hailey Lewis
truck traffic to enter and exit with- said “there will be more storage and
out the necessity of turning around, other cool new stuff to help turn our
making for a much more efficient and TX operation into a more well-oiled
a safer loading and unloading oper- machine”.
ation. Trucks can exit onto Enterprise
Place, avoiding the problematic and The new racking system for New
hazardous traffic on Harris Road. Warehouse is a marvel of modern
                                            material handling, but the drawings
were too large to include here. The
image above shows the layout of
                                            New Warehouse.

No word yet on when the ground-
breaking is scheduled, but I’ll take
some champagne! EDITOR’S NOTE: Hands down the clear
