Recruitment
For both CONUS and OCONUS positions, a PM is responsible for determining staffing needs based on
workforce planning or forecasting from known contract requirements. Vysnova is an equal
opportunity employer, and as such, the same standard is applied in the field as permitted by local
labor law, as is in the U.S. Thus, employment decisions are made regardless of race, sex, or religion
and Vysnova accepts no form of remuneration in exchange for employment. An offer of employment
will be made to the candidate possessing the best combination of education, work experience, and
other relevant skills.
Vysnova makes every effort to source and promote from within the firm. If the need to publicly
advertise and recruit a new position arises, the PM will fill follow the below steps as depicted in
Figure 1 on the next page:
Once staffing needs are determined, the PM must produce a Position Description (PD). PDs are
developed for each position based on the requirements outlined in the client contract. If the
contract does not specify a PD, the PM will work with HR to develop one consistent with
Vysnova’s historical PDs. The PD template can be found in the Vysnova Standard PgM Docs
ShareSync folder (See Annex E) as well as example PDs for similar positions as needed.
o The PD is developed prior to recruiting for a position and is a required part of the
Employment Agreement. Employee duties may be modified by the PM as necessary during
the project. These changes will be reflected in the development of a revised job description
by the PM and the signature in duplicate of the revised document by the PM and the project
staff. Any modification to the job description that necessitates a corresponding salary
change must be approved by the PM. The PM must inform the HR manager, who will provide
an Employment Agreement Modification letter to be signed by the employee,
acknowledging the changes.
Fill out the Position Requisition Form (in the Vysnova Standard PgM Docs ShareSync folder, see
Annex E) and send it to the Vysnova HR department or Recruiter and, for OCONUS positions, our
local recruiting partner (this may be the same as the local HR/Payroll company or it may be a
different partner).
Vysnova HR will post the job within Vysnova’s job portal and provide the link to the job to the
PM.
Vysnova HR/Recruiter, and PM as available, will conduct analysis of all applications and CVs
based on PD provided by PM.
Vysnova HR/Recruiter will conduct prescreen interviews. Pre-screened candidate CVs/Resumes
that meet the PD requirements will be placed in a ShareSync folder by Vysnova HR and shared
with the PM. The PM will be responsible for adding the CVs/Resumes from the local recruiting
partner.
