Who quali es for testing?
A suspected case (person to be tested for COVID-19) is anyone presenting with an acute respiratory tract infection (within 14 days) or other clinical illness compatible with COVID-19, or an asymptomatic person who shows no symptoms who is a close contact with a con rmed case.
Anosmia (loss of sense of smell) or dysgeusia (alteration of the sense of taste)
With or without other symptoms (which may include fever, weakness, myalgia, or diarrhoea).
A close contact is someone who had face-to-face contact (less than 1 metre) or was in a closed space with a con rmed COVID-19 case for at least 15 minutes.
Close contacts include all people living in the same household as a COVID-19 case, and people working closely in the same environment as a positive case.
The key respiratory syndrome consists the following symptoms:
Cough
Sore throat
Shortness of breath
