On behalf of the European Ploughing Association Best wishes to you all, enjoy the occasion.
I express our appreciation to Irelands National
Ploughing Association together with the Vintage Ken Chappell MBE
Ploughing Association of Ireland who have from President, European Ploughing Association.
outset demonstrated a determination to host
the event as an integral part of Irelands National
Ploughing Contest in an atmosphere of friendship
and warm hospitality for which we are most
appreciative.
We are fortunate to have an excellent site in the
heart of Irelands Co. Laois and are indebted to
land owners and local community for providing
the land together with all the necessary facilities.
It is recognised that a number of our teams have
made long journeys to be here. Your enthusiasm
and support is very much appreciated.
Many of our founding members continue to
support the event despite the rising cost of
travel. A special thanks to those of you who
each year undertake the necessary and perhaps
less glamorous tasks. Your steadfast support is
essential to the success of the event, thank you.
