1740 by the famous Architect Richard Castles for Robert Rochfort, later Lord Belvedere (“ e Wicked Earl”).
A day visitor to Belvedere gets to explore the restored Georgian Belvedere House, Victorian Walled Garden set in a naturalistic
designed 18th century parkland, punctuated with Romantic Follies includes the largest in Ireland; “ e Jealous Wall” along
with Ice House, Gothic Arch & Gazebo.
