This is an exciting time of year for the Emerging Leaders Group! In Lexington, America, Draexlmaier
we just hosted our Annual ELG Kick-off Event, which took place at Gather
on Main. We “gathered” for some good times, great food, and even better Timberwolff
conversations. Meanwhile in Charlotte, their local ELG group had a fun night on One Medical, Old Navy, Athleta
the town cheering on their city’s hockey team, the Charlotte Checkers.
Things are also starting to ramp up with our Professional Development Series. 7
Our first presentation of the year is scheduled for mid-February. This will be
our third year hosting the series, and we are making a few adjustments to the
format that we believe everyone will enjoy. Be sure to tune in for our upcoming
presentation as invitations will be sent out soon. In the Crosshairs
Around the holidays we thought it would be nice to give everyone an Moore’s Food Resource, WholeStone
opportunity to take a break from the chaos and come together for a Christmas Farms, T. Marzetti, Van Hool, Project
Happy Hour (see picture below). This networking event was hosted at Mirror Twin Ranger, Project Jupiter
Brewing in Lexington. We were lucky enough to have a few members from the
executive team as well as our sister company, Gray Solutions, join us for some
holiday cheer.
Reflecting back on our philanthropy efforts over the past two years, Common
Good has made such an incredible impact on the members of Lexington’s GrayU Classes
ELG through our partnership with them. This year we have decided to make
some changes to better incorporate our jobsites as well as the Charlotte and Project and Site Management Roles
Birmingham Offices. We will be teaming up with the American Heart Association in Food and Beverage Projects
for 2020 with high hopes that we can make a positive influence in the lives of March 4

Lastly we are very excited to announce that starting this year, the ELG will Office 365 OneDrive
be leading the planning efforts for the annual Bowl For Kid’s Sake event! This is March 5
