National 5 Maths Coaching System

The 5-Steps

These five steps will be followed each week creating a

comprehensive maths coaching system for your child.

We appreciate that many National 5 students have more than

just maths going on in their lives. Without taking over
everything else they have to do, we have found that the 'little

bit and often' approach enables students to absorb more

knowledge and gain a better understanding of each area of

maths.

This daily practise helps them to grow in their experience of

the topic and gain in confidence, ready to take on new

challenges.

The five step system is particularly helpful for those who

need a bit more help in preparing for exams and helps

students to learn revision techniques, which can be applied to

all the subjects that they are studying.

This method of building momentum in maths takes the stress

out of the equation, not just for the student, but for parents
too. You can also rest assured that I am a qualified and

experienced teacher working with the Scottish curriculum and

am approved by Disclosure Scotland.
