The 5 Step National 5 Maths
Coaching System
Step Two
The student will watch the video of their chosen maths
topic of the week and will then begin their assignments.
If they get stuck, they can go back through the step-by-
step lesson in their own time, to remind themselves of the
process to tackle anything they find tricky. They will also
receive a copy of the National 5 Teejay Maths book, which
is used in most schools in Scotland, to refer to and
consolidate their learning.
Should they find that it is more of a challenge and they
need help, they can email a request to arrange a short
Zoom chat to overcome that hurdle.
The student can then continue with their assignments
with confidence that they are on the right track.
