This publication is made possible by the membership dues and contributions from the members of the Moun-
tain View Missouri Chamber of Commerce. The goal of the Mountain View Missouri Chamber of Commerce
is to promote the economic growth of our city in order to improve the quality of life for businesses and residents
in the Mountain View area. When a business joins the chamber, they are showing a commitment to our
community. Following are some of the things the chamber of commerce does for our community each year:

• We maintain an active Mountain View Chamber of Commerce Facebook page, sharing our members posts
and other important information regarding our community. We can be found on Facebook by searching for
Mountain View Chamber of Commerce - Missouri.
• We donate to several local charities each year.*
• We manage and maintain the Community Center which can be rented out as a venue for yard sales,
• birthday parties, baby showers, family reunions, etc. at very reasonable prices. You may read more about it
below.
• We partner with Mercy St. Francis Hospital on the Annual Easter Egg Hunt.
• We provide scholarships to MVBT Liberty High School seniors.*
• We sponsor a “Mountain View Night” with the Springfield Cardinals which is a fundraiser for Mountain
View Youth Athletic Association.
• We sponsor an amazing Pioneer Days event.
• We host a Veterans Breakfast.
• We host two Christmas time craft shows.
• We sponsor a magical evening Christmas parade.
• We provide Christmas gifts to children from the Mountain View/Birch Tree School District (who might not
otherwise get gifts) through our Angel Tree effort.

*During 2019 the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce rewarded $4500 to three Liberty High School
seniors for scholarships, donated $2500 to Good Samaritan Outreach Center and $2500 to the F.E.E.D. (Food
Enough for Everyone Program.) We also donated $1000 for the Back to School Fair, and $1000 to the
K.I.N.D. Program at Mountain View Elementary.

Mountain View Community Center
This large meeting space in the center of Mountain View’s charming downtown is available for corporate
events, shows, family gatherings, private parties, etc. The facility offers a fully equipped kitchen, a large meeting
room, bathrooms, and a stage area. There are also 26 tables 8 foot tables and approximately 175 chairs availa-
