Mini Lesson 4.1




                     Teacher Instructions



                     SEL Standard 2D.2b- Apply constructive approaches in resolving conflicts.


                     Teacher: Assign students the writing activity that requires them to write positive behaviors
                     beside the negative behaviors.


                     Teacher: Explain to the students that if they are involved in conflict and they display the negative
                     behaviors, they will have unfavorable consequences. If they display the positive behaviors, the
                     consequences will be favorable.


                     Vocabulary:
                     1. Positive- something that is good or helpful
                     2. Negative- not helpful or constructive.
                     3. Favorable- pleasing; causing approval.
