Guided Instruction (We Do)
Teacher: Discuss roles that the students can perform in school to prevent bullying.
• Stand up for yourself.
• Stand up for a classmate.
• Tell your parents.
• Tell an adult at school.
• Start a bullying-prevention club.
Independent Practice (You Do)
Teacher: Instruct the students to work in cooperative groups. Ask each group to write about
one role that they could perform in-order-to prevent bullying, and explain why that role would
be helpful.
Exit Ticket (Assessment)
Teacher: Instruct each student to work independently. Ask each student to write about one
role he or she can perform to prevent bulling and explain why the role would be helpful.
