Splitter Falls
Throughout the walk you are greeted with some wonderful surprises such as steps, rock steps,
wooden steps – oh yes, anything to make life easier! However, the frequent jagged rock formations
ensure you keep focussed.
Passing by the aptly named Grand Canyon with its very impressive rock formation forces you to stop
and ponder on the wonders of our earth and the part we play. We enjoy the tranquillity of Bridal Veil
Falls and keep walking on towards Silent Street, which displays another impressive side of the walk.
With many more steps and rock hopping accompanying lush vegetation we finally reach ‘The
Pinnacle’. Here is a great lunch stop. The magnificent views show the surrounding township of Halls
Gap and the town’s local water supply, Lake Bellfield with further views of the countryside. Pretty
spectacular!
