JOVITA MILLER

Jovita N. Miller was born and raised on St. Helena Island,
South Carolina to two wonderful parents, John Jr. and
Margie Miller. Jovita has a 24-year-old son, JoRon, who
just recently graduated from Old Dominion University
majoring in Computer Engineering and Computer Science.
She also has two younger sisters, Carlon and Bridget.
Jovita received her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in
Computer Engineering from the University of South
Carolina, Columbia and her Master’s in Business

the University of Phoenix. Jovita aspires to return to school to pursue her doctoral
degree one day. Jovita strives to live daily by the following verses: “A friend loves
at all times” Proverbs 17:17 and “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the
evidence of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1. Jovita loves reading and spending time
with family and friends in her spare time when she’s not working on building her
empire. Jovita also loves meeting new people and finds it enlightening to work with
the youth in and around her community.

Jovita moved to the Fredericksburg area approximately 20 years ago right after
undergrad. She’s been involved in a number of community organizations for a
number of years. She currently serves on the U4C Victory Ministries, Inc. Board of
Directors as Secretary, Merit Badge Counselor for Boy Scout Troop 46, one of the

                      Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Not only is Jovita a mother, daughter, sister, friend, volunteer, and mentor just to
name a few, she is also an author, consultant, coach, and a motivating force for
women. Despite having encountered many challenges in her own life, Jovita
persevered while refusing to accept failure. Her tests became her testimony, which
in turn, became the fuel for other women to gain triumphant victory in their own
lives. Jovita empowers women to live confident, authentic lives unapologetically.
She helps them to reach their full potential by showing them how to tap into their
own inner greatness. It is Jovita’s passion to see women inspired, empowered and
restored to wholeness. As a single mother, Jovita also has a heart for promoting
family togetherness and having a positive network of role models for not only her
son, but also for today’s youth.
