Over the year donors very generously responded to the call to support our Neurosciences collectively raising a staggering $1.9M to install a Biplane to support stroke patients
and people experiencing brain aneurysms.
A/Prof. Gurdial Singh took fundraising
to new heights by trekking to Everest base camp, raising $19,000 to upgrade the Simulation Centre, part of the Clinical Education Centre that enhances training
for new doctors and nurses.
25 hospital staff and doctors took part in the City2Surf, raising over $15,000 for Cardiac Services. Their support helped purchase a high-flow oxygen machine and cardiac monitor for the wards.
