WORK EDUCATION
Work Education is a compulsory subject at St. Edmund’s. Students in Year 9 and Year 10 have 4 periods of Work Education a week, 2 single periods and 1 double. In the double period students role play work activities and learn essential skills to prepare them for both TAFE and work.
This year, students have participated in a wide range of work-related activities
including preparing and selling items at Knox Garden Day, cooking, creating
and selling Christmas cards, collating tiles to produce heat mats and even making clocks! They have also performed tasks around the school, collating our weekly newsletters to go home in school bags and have looked after our new worm farm.
