Celebrating the values that empower and inspire women in our communities, the 2025 awards are named: Visione, Forza, Benessere, Coraggio, Cuore, Ispirazione.
VISIONE: CREATIVITY
Creativity plays a crucial role in shaping communities, enhancing communication across diverse platforms. This award recognises Italian-South Australian women who use their creativity and related skills across various creative media to make an impact on people’s lives.
FORZA: EXCELLENCE IN LEADERSHIP AWARD
These women excel in their professional fields as leaders, bringing pride to the community and State of South Australia. Their tenacity, dedication, passion, selflessness, and confidence make them exemplary leaders. They bridge generations and serve as role models for future Italian- Australians.
BENESSERE: HEALTH AND WELLBEING
These are women who enhance community health and wellbeing. It honours those providing support, guidance, assistance or professional services that positively impact mental and physical health.
CORAGGIO: CHANGEMAKER/SOCIAL JUSTICE AWARD
‘Coraggio’ applaudes exceptional women making significant changes in their field. They advocate for minority and disadvantaged groups, raising awareness for important causes. They connect people, champion social justice, and drive action.
CUORE: MARIA DIMASI COMMUNITY SPIRIT AWARD
This Award honours Italian-South Australian women who have positively impacted their local communities. These women have attended to specific needs, fostered social and inclusive values, and strengthened community connections through their work.
ISPIRAZIONE: LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
The Lifetime Achievement Award acknowledges women who have made significant contributions to our world, often working behind the scenes. It honours an outstanding woman for her lifelong commitment to the broader community. They will have contributed to the community for over 30
years.
