Emergency Care Packs:
Providing Comfort in Critical Moments
Our Emergency Care Packs are designed to provide essential comfort to patients across the hospital, not just in emergency situations. With over 300 packs distributed annually, these thoughtful packages offer much- needed relief and support during times of stress and uncertainty.
Each pack may seem small, but it
plays a significant role in offering comfort and reassurance to patients in various departments throughout the hospital.
If you would like to support this initiative and contribute to making a difference please get in touch with our Donor Relations Manager, Michelle Shimakage on (02) 9480 9405 or email foundation@sah.org.

Peter Does it Again!
Thanks to the incredible success of Peter’s 2024 Challenge - which saw him cover 2024 kilometers in 24 weeks with a 20,240-meter elevation gain, we were delighted to fund several Child Representational Therapy Dolls, which offer valuable emotional support to patients with dementia.
These dolls help create a sense of purpose and comfort, allowing patients to express their feelings, interact socially, and experience reduced stress during their hospital stay. The impact of this project is profound, enhancing the quality of care and support for those living with dementia.
Thank you to Peter for his dedication and to all who supported this inspiring challenge!
