         Background
The Review Report noted the broad range of stakeholders involved in CEnet. This includes the Archbishops / Bishops, dioceses, members, member representatives, directors, education offices, schools, and state / territory Catholic education authorities.
As part of the work recently conducted by the board in refreshing CEnet’s strategy, it was acknowledged that stakeholder communication and engagement is becoming an important issue. The board has identified that a comprehensive communication and engagement plan is required and has that as an action on its work plan for 2020.
A change in the existing federated representative model would further support the need for the development of a stakeholder communication and engagement plan.
The Review Report specifically recommended that CEnet continue developing a close working relationship with the respective state / territory Catholic education authorities. Some work has commenced on this however it is important that these relationships continue to develop.
    Key actions required
