Had a wonderful season in his return season to cricket after having a season off in 23/24 to concentrate on studies. Was one of our best bowlers week to week and his fielding was outstanding. His batting is really starting to come on in leaps and bounds also.
Kayshav Sharma
Kayshav had a solid season, took some great catches and bowled very well at times. His batting also has potential and will continue to progress.
Armaan Duggal
Armaan was also a welcomed addition to the team, along with Kayshav. He bowled well at times and his batting also improved significantly throughout the season also
Vidanagamage Yuvain
Another new addition to the team. Yuvain had a very strong season for us in all departments. I can’t wait to follow his progress next season. He is a great student of the game and will continue to do very well.
Hridayjot Singh
Had a wonderful season, was one of our best bowlers week to week and his fielding was outstanding. His batting was solid for us all season also.
Thank you so much to the club for their wonderful support and encouragement throughout the year, I am so grateful to be allowed the opportunity to coach for WPHC for another season, what a fantastic club and bunch of kids and people to work with.
Blue
WPHCCC U13 Blues are a solid team of comrades or as we call them the “Blues Brothers”. Our dedicated core returning ten team members welcomed two new players; Vedha & Ruven. Again, we asked each player to write about one of their teammates. Their insightful comments exemplify the brotherhood our boys share at training, on match days & during our popular social events.
William Hayes
William was our leading run scorer this year with a total of 185 runs, & consequently received our Best Batter award. He has worked on his technique & therefore plays lots more shots around the ground. Will hits the ball all over the park & also for boundaries when we require runs due to his powerful stroke play. With eight catches & five run outs, he has again taken on the role of wicket keeper & leads the team by example on & off the field. (Flynn)
