Riley King
Riley is a hard-working player, mastering the art of fielding as well as his talents in batting & fast bowling. He has shown tremendous improvement & growth this season which is why he won our Team Encouragement award. Riley even filled in for our U12’s Gold team on three occasions to help them field a team. He enjoys spending training sessions & match days with his teammates & has an awesome golf swing which was most evident at our social day at Swing City. (Ruven)
Flynn Di Pietro
Flynn is the most enthusiastic & passionate player I have ever met. His love of cricketer is unlike any other. Flynn is undoubtedly one of the best players I have played with. This season he accumulated 150 runs, took 4 catches & took 9 wickets which were all bowled out. When filling in for our U12’s Gold team, he took his best figures of 3/1, plus a catch & a run out. Flynn is a very consistent & determined player & I am proud to play alongside him. (Vedha)
Sachin Dixit
Sachin is our most aggressive player who always took the game to the other team in exciting fashion. From his lightning quick unplayable at times deliveries, his incredible scoring rate & the fact he was the only one to score an impressive & magnificent 51 runs not out against Hornsby Gold. Sachin took 10 wickets & 6 catches as well as a stumping when keeping. Our team relies on Sachin to lead by example & he certainly did that this season. (Tim)
Ekansh Gulati
Ekansh is essential to our team in multiple ways, his batting & bowling were highlights of the season, a multi-dimensional asset, one might say. However, it is not only on the pitch that counts; Ekansh has brought the team together with his light-hearted humour, incredible kindness & welcoming nature to everyone, especially our newest additions. An integral part of the Blues team, a founding member, our team is grateful to have you on our side. (Dev)
Dhruv Mangal
Dhruv is a great cricketer with amazing focus who bats with confidence, even when he strides to the crease without his glasses on! He is a positive energy in our team who keeps our team’s spirits up. I like how Dhruv always looks for the big shots, especially when he advances down the pitch. His spin bowling keeps the opponents on their toes, with his best figures of 2/6. We love the energy Dhruv has behind the stumps; he is truly an amazing wicketkeeper. (Jordan)
