Thenuk Thebuwanage
Thenuk is an enthusiastic fielder & always does his best for the team. As a left-handed batsman, his hook shot is one of his strongest weapons. Thenuk’s 30 not out against our White team was a highlight innings & included his customary speed between the wickets. He is a quiet achiever who enjoys spending time with his teammates & in turn we appreciate his commitment to training sessions & our team. (William)
Dev Kadaba
Dev has a heart of gold. From when we first met Dev, two years ago, he has been an awesome person to be around. This season his 24 not out was a highlight at the Brooklyn Dairy Cricket Ground, a beautiful setting for a match of cricket. His concentration in the field is second to none, & we love practising high ball catches with him & his Dad during training drills. Dev is a great friend & it is a truly eminent experience being around him. (Dhruv)
Jordan Marcus
Jordan is a quiet achiever in our team. He has the ability to bowl the most deceptive floating slow ball, with his best figures of 2/5 & 9 wickets this season. His batting is always reliable, no more so than against our Purple team where he accumulated 28 runs with three 4s at a strike rate of 116. Jordan is a cat in the field & is often in the right place to stop boundaries or quick singles. With three catches & 2 run outs, he is a valuable contributor. (Riley)
Timothy Law
Tim has been a supportive & encouraging teammate throughout the entire season. His reliable spinners have captured an impressive 11 wickets, plus his 4 catches & remarkable 164 runs have put him to the top of our team rankings this season. Tim is a reliable & passionate cricketer who is one of the first to arrive at training & on match days. Not only is he amazing at playing cricket, he also shows great sportsmanship. (Thenuk)
Ruven Wickramaratna
Ruven is a friendly, hardworking, & quietly confident guy who always gives his best. When Ruven first joined our team, he was as shy as a cat at a dog party. But soon enough, he was chatting with everyone like he’d known us forever. At practice, he was like a superhero as he was always in the right place at the right time. Always kind, always ready to help, & always trying to improve. Ruven didn’t just join our team, he made it better. (Ekansh)
