Huge thanks to our Manager Cathy who organises our boys match days, works tirelessly behind the scenes & brings snacks, treats & Christmas gifts for the boys. She engages with our supportive parents to ensure we have both manual & e-scorers each week, takes care of general business all with a smile on her face. Cathy has also helped out with Age Co-ordinator duties for both U13 & U14. Every team needs a Cathy. (Coach Mark)
Coach Mark Hayes
We are indebted to our Coach Mark whose dedication to our Blue team is truly phenomenal. He commits to weekly training sessions, match day set up, umpiring & team pep talks, extra holiday sessions, social get togethers & much more. Our boys respect Mark & have grown exponentially both skill & technique wise plus more importantly as human beings. Mark is also the U13 & U14 Age Co- ordinator so the amount of administration work he accomplishes each week with no fuss is extraordinary. Mark is a most deserving winner of our club’s Junior Volunteer of the Year award. (Manager Cathy)
A final thank you to our extremely supportive Blues Family of parents, siblings & grandparents who cheer on our team, take on various responsibilities, contribute treats & money, take on transport duties, & generally have a positive influence on or boys & therefore team. We look forward to another successful year, growing as a team.
U14
White
Under 14 White had a tough season with mainly losses but a few good efforts and wins. Overall I think each player in the team improved a lot. We all had special moments. Harjit and Ibrahim’s half centuries were a definite highlight. We also bowled very consistently. Even though we didn’t win most of our games the players still came to every game and training with a good attitude and tried their best.
