Welcome to our new Club Sponsor, Haven Property & Finance https://havenpf.com/ . Haven has been a great supporter and also made a significant financial contribution to the Pink Stumps initiative. It was though Haven’s financial support, along with the WPH Sports Club to allow us to transition to our new playing shirts at no cost to our members.
2024/25 – season snapshot
On-field
• Blast saw the introduction of a Tuesday Twilight and Saturday morning playing option for the first time and got 24 registrations in our first time offering for a Tuesday option
• Blowfly continues to get between 15 and 20 participants each week at James Henty
Juniors Mixed:
o 402 player Registrations was an increase of 13 children on last season with the concentration in the younger age groups, especially in the U9 to U12 ages
o Congratulations to our 7 teams making the Semi-Finals, 3 Grand Finalists and 2 Premier sides. The U12’s was contested between our Gold and Purple sides in Club derby – see photo below
o It was especially pleasing to receive the following feedback from Gavin Wingfield (Umpire and Association Life Member), who Umpired the U13 Semi Final:
