Page 15 - A SINNER'S LAST STEP
P. 15

*Whizki (closed):*

His voice was low, yet more open than before, although there was still a bit of tension

"Nothing is really irreparable, America. Maybe the impact won't completely disappear, but... At

least we can start taking responsibility. That's what I've never done—face reality."

(Every cloud has a silver lining.)

           *Koktayla (attention):*

Smiling softly, looking at Whizki with empathy

"I'm glad you want to start opening up, Whizki. We all have our own sins and mistakes, but

acknowledging them is an important step. We've all failed... But we can also rise."

(To err is human; to forgive divine)

           *Morgan (wise):*

Nodding in agreement, his gaze was calm and profound

"You're not alone in your regrets, Ameria. We all have a part in this story. But remember, no sin is

too great to forgive—as long as we are willing to change. What you do in the future is more
important than what you have done in the past."

(no sin is too great to forgive—as long as we are willing to change.)

           *Ameria (full of regret):*

His voice was quieter, although there were still doubts

"Sometimes I feel... I didn't even deserve a second chance. Every day I am haunted by that past."

           (Once bitten, twice shy)

           *Whizki (closed):*

His voice was still flat, but now there was a deeper honesty

"You're not alone, America. I also tried to escape from the same past. Hiding behind a wall that I

built myself. But now I know, the wall didn't save me—it only made me more isolated."

           *Koktayla (attention):*

Holding Ameria and Whizki's hands alternately, the tone was loving
