Litters
The safest anatomical position for an injured victim (from a
transport perspective) is supine with his back straight, eyes
forward, and arms and legs straight with his hands at his sides.
If the victim might vomit or is unconscious, he should be on his
side, cushioned to protect against undue motion and to ensure
an open airway.
